Is There Such A Thing As Data Entry Work At Home,, Without Paying For It?

I’m trying to find some data entry work to do at home, on the side. I work for a professional office but nothing to bring home. I have heard of companies years ago that would send you work, or you pick it up, and do the input for them in the evening, UPS the work back or take it back to the company. I must be in dreamland or something, because now a days you have to pay to get this kind of work, or so I see on-line. I was just checking as a last resort to see if anyone knew of something that is out there, that sounds remotely like this.

You will hear of a lot of people who claim to have found this work and are making a fortune. The only way they really make money is by getting others to pay them to find work–not by actual work.
There are data entry jobs available, but they are generally only available very locally. The pace of business today prohibits the type of data entry you remember from years back. However, there are always businesses which need to take analog data (maybe handwritten job applications, for example) and turn them into computer entries. Even with optical character recognition, there is still a need to data enter or verify what the system read. Occasionally, this work can be done from home once you’ve proven yourself with the employer. Look for evening shifts for data entry (often found thru temp agencies) and once you’ve built a reputation, see if their servers can be accessed remotely so you could work from home. I think more and more of these jobs will be done at home, but they will extremely short time-lines, what comes in today needs to be in the system tonight, for example, with none of the flexibility you remember. Good luck.

    Hi,
Hmmmmmmm…so you are looking for data entry work from home. Perhaps you are like me, and have been spending your time researching legitimate ways to make a buck online. If so, you have invariably stumbled upon dozens of “review” sites offering there seal of approval for the best data entry programs around. Let me tell you a secret. Each of these so called “review” sights is set up for one reason only. To sell products. People who have nothing but there best interest in mind, are promoting bunk products so they can turn a commission. Now that in itself does not make the Data Entry products bad, but listen and I will answer – “What is data entry?”
People are buying data entry products left and right thinking that they just have to “enter data” to make money online.
Seems like the logical process right? Wrong!!! These programs take your money, and then tell you to make your “data entry” money back promoting the exact same program. So in theory, you are making money by promoting the data entry program, and in order to do this, you had to spend potentially $1000’s in advertising using PPC engines like Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing.
Best way to find data entry work is to look around in your city at dat entry centers and check wether they give work taht can be done from home.
Drop a copy of your CV at local staffing agencies and see what that can do for you.
Alternatively, there is a place called “online freelance marketplace” like guru.com, you can find many data entry projects here. But you have to bid on projects to get them. List of online marketplace is available on …
