How Much Should New Websites Charge For Advertising?

I have a new website and not many people know about it yet but am going to work hard with advertising and getting it out there. My question is: How much should I charge for businesses to advertise on my website right now as it is a brand new site?
I mean…what do people charge for it when they have just published their new site?

    First: Forget about advertisement right now. It will only frustrate you and if at all you happen to get someone who is willing to advertise on your site, you won’t like the offer.
    Second. Work on your traffic level, create more content, advertise your website whenever the chance presents itself, try your best so that your site become one of the most visited site in your niche.
    Finally: work on your PR. Try to get a high page rank, upward of 5. This will establish your credibility with search engines.
    Once you have these in place, you will be surprised at the rate at which advertisers will be begging for you to have a slot for them on your page.

    Chances are, people will not want to advertise on your website until it is at least a Google PR 4. (Look up Google page rank to learn more.) Of course advertising prices do go up if you have tons of traffic.
    How about using something like Google Adsense or another contextual advertising program to make some money for hosting ads?
